ABOUT US

SNA was formed in 2010 with the support of NetballWA.

It was initially like a country association as everyone knew each other and it still has this feel today.

At the beginning of the first year there was a mixture of 4 teams with junior players only aged from 8 years old to 15 years old. 

In 2010, SNA competed at its first MAC (Member Association Championships) with a mixture of two ages. In the second year SNA had seniors competing and junior teams in several age groups.

In 2011 three main clubs were established – Diamonds, Veolia Vixens and Liberty. These clubs are still competing at SNA in 2023.

A small SNA committee was formed in 2011.
